These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dream Layer Studios website and your purchase of our products. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our products

Dream Layer Studios designs and 3D-prints lampshades and figurines to order in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Because each item is printed individually, small variations in color, texture and layer finish are normal and are part of what makes each piece unique. Product photos are representative; the item you receive may differ slightly.

2. Custom and personalized orders

You are responsible for sending clear reference photos and accurate instructions. We send a design preview before printing and only begin production after you approve it.
Approval of the preview is final. Personalized items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded after approval except as described in our Refund Policy.
Life-size, multi-person and extra-complex designs are quoted individually and may be priced above the listed sizes.

3. Your content and intellectual property

By sending us photos, logos or other material, you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them, and you grant Dream Layer Studios a limited license to use that material solely to create your order. We may decline any order that we believe infringes someone else's rights or that we are not comfortable producing.

Some ready-made designs are inspired by popular brands, teams and characters. These are independently created decorative products made by fans. Dream Layer Studios is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any brand, team, studio or rights holder referenced on this site, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.

4. Pricing, payment and discounts

All prices are in U.S. dollars. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Discount codes cannot be combined with other discounts unless stated otherwise, and we may end or modify promotions at any time. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel orders affected by them, with a full refund.

5. Shipping and risk of loss

Shipping terms, timelines and our shipping-damage replacement policy are set out in our Shipping Policy. Timelines are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.

6. Safety and use

Lampshades are designed for use with LED bulbs and with the wireless stash base we include. Do not use with incandescent or halogen bulbs, which produce heat that can deform 3D-printed material. Figurines are decorative items and are not toys for young children.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dream Layer Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or this site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
